  • DocuWorld Partner Conference 2021: More participants than ever

Whether you’re working remotely, returning to the office or doing a bit of both, tools that make working together easier are always a worthwhile investment. DocuWare’s latest offering, version 7.4, offers several enhancements that will be valuable in the post-COVID workplace which is likely to offer a combination of in-office, remote and hybrid options.

DocuWare once again invited its Partners from DACH, EMEA and the APAC regions to gather for its annual DocuWorld Partner Conference. But just like in 2020, the event was held virtually online. The result: a record number of participants were able to join in. Around 1,600 Partner employees – including management, sales and technical staffs – tuned in from 66 countries. They took full advantage of immersive training and continuing education offerings as well as the opportunity for recertification. More than 70 workshops in four languages (English, French, German and Spanish) were on the agenda, giving participants deep insights into the company’s products and sales practices.

Stefan Schmidt, VP Product at DocuWare, also demonstrated the new features in DocuWare version 7.4, which Partners found very beneficial. The new version is now available for both cloud and on-premises.

“It was important to us that attendees were able to get a first-hand look at what’s new in DocuWare version 7.4,” said Dr. Michael Berger. “Of course, there was a lack of personal networking. But on the flipside you could concentrate on the program without being distracted,” emphasizes Max Ertl. Interactive cooking events, which livened up the event around lunchtime, offered a nice change of pace as well.

At an accompanying virtual trade show, companies from software and hardware sectors presented their innovations and integration possibilities with DocuWare. They often highlighted ways for customers to efficiently expand on their DocuWare use. Exhibitors included Datatronic SoftwareValidated IDSattel Business SolutionsObjectif Lune and BCT GermanyPlustek and Canon also demonstrated their latest scanners.
